Chicago Area Cinematographers

Here’s a partial list of Chicago area Cinematographers and Gaffers that I’ve worked with as a Steadicam Operator in the past six years (including a few that I have only encountered in their capacity as camera tech’s and ACs). While I may be a serviceable D.P. for shoots with modest supplemental lighting needs I graciously refer these fine Directors of Photography for projects requiring elaborate set ups, large crews, or for working in a style in which a particular photographer is well versed. Most of the people below have reels available for checking out their work.

Disclaimer: Some of these people may have jumped to one of the coasts as media workers tend to be geographically whimsical. To the best of my knowledge the persons listed below considered Illinois a home base at some point in recent history.
